Sustainable Development

My design employs circular elements as the primary geometric motif, embodying the concept of "crash." Users will encounter incomplete circles throughout the space, with layered elements providing diverse visual experiences.

Upon visiting the Red Hook neighborhood, I observed significant plastic pollution issues, even in small communities. This observation inspired a design that not only features a compelling hierarchy of shapes but also communicates a powerful message through its unique forms.

The concept symbolizes the impact of plastic pollution on our ecosystem.

Furthermore, the design includes a dedicated space for recycling education. This educational aspect aims to inform visitors about proper recycling practices, enabling them to disseminate this knowledge within their communities and promote widespread participation in sustainable recycling efforts.
